Ginger asks us a juicy question that I’ve given a lot of thought: What inspires you to create characters? Do you have partially-developed characters in mind for use when you get into a new campaign? Do you shop characters around, or do you come up with new characters when you get into a campaign? Why? If you GM, are you bothered by receiving a solicitation for a generic character, or does it enthuse you to get a solid proposal even if its not closely tailored to your game?
Ginger mentions our beloved “Dubya” and his support for the odious Federal Marriage Amendment.
Let me say it in as simple terms as possible.

Remember Paranoia? And if you don’t, I guess you are a treasonous Commie, an enemy of the Computer and must report to a termination chamber immediately. The Computer is your friend! A new edition is in the works.
Apparently they are going old school in bringing back the original co-designer in on the project. And they are pretending the hated Fifth Edition never existed…
Those of you who have seen Finding Nemo (and if you haven’t, go and see it!) will remember the wild Eastern Australian Current. There is an interesting article on msnbc.com about the idea of these “highways of the sea” in real life, the movement patterns of marine life.
Okay, not really. But I’ve set up a syndication feed for BJS onto Livejournal. Basically taking the RSS feed and feeding it into Livejournal. Nothing fancy. http://www.livejournal.com/users/blogjvstinstyle/
So now LJers can get their dose of me easily and effectively.
Well, the Administration admits to it. Some of the detainees may be held there “indefinitely.”
How many Edmund Dantes’ are imprisoned there now and might not get to leave, ever? Even one is too many.
