Fun with Latin and Heinlein

In the Heinlein novel Glory Road, Oscar gets himself a sword, the Lady Vivamus. The sword has the following inscription:
“Dum Vivimus Vivamus”
While we live, let us live.
So I got to thinking how I would repurpose that formulation.
Dum is the latin for while
Vivimus is the first person “we” form of the verb vivo.
Vivamus is the first person conjunctive/subjuctive “we” form of the verb vivo.
So, then:
Dum scribimus scribamus.
While we write, let us write!
Dum legimus legamus
While we read, let us read!
