From sloppiness to incompetence…
Today’s picture for you, again from the recent MN State Fair, is of one of the food booths, the Sugar Shack, on the Midway of the Fair. As you can see, I decided, for an old time treat and an “old time” fair, I decided to process this one with a Sepia sort of look.
4-H in the United States is a youth organization administered by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Its a big thing in rural America.
So today’s picture is the 4H building at the MN state Fair. As you can see, I decided to be a little creative and take a slightly tilted perspective to the shot…
The Firetower was one of my favorite things at the MN State Fair this year. While waiting on line to get up there, one can see a selection of Smokey the Bear Posters, like these. This is a case where you really do want to look at the larger picture to see them in more detail.

Spam gets a bad rap. Believe it or not, though, Minnesota is inordinately proud of its little weird lunchmeat. If that’s okay with you, that is.
Hormel always has a Spam booth at the Minnesota State Fair, and although I have not been there yet, also has a museum down in Austin devoted to it.
